Image of the Week: Meetings & Events, the Mindful Way

Mindfulness Day is an emerging annual event, which will be celebrated this coming Sunday, September 12, to raise awareness of the many benefits of mindfulness.

Mindfulness is a positive mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment.  As well as a successful therapeutic technique for overcoming anxiety and depression, today mindfulness is also being used as core leadership development technique in business.

If you’re an HR director looking for innovative ways to develop leadership qualities, it’s a great theme for your leadership events.

We’re lucky enough to have our own ‘mindfulness guru’ here at MCI. Nisha Mullatti, MCI Group Regional Sales Director, Asia-Pacific, is a thought leader in the area of corporate mindfulness and was instrumental in bringing Wisdom 2.0 Asia: Leadership in Business & Society (pictured) – a major event series on mindfulness for the corporate world – to Asia for the very first time in June 2015.

The business leaders from across Asia-Pacific who attended Wisdom 2.0 Asia explored innovative, mindful and inspiring leadership in the digital age, and came away feeling energised and inspired to develop the inner qualities that make great leaders through the latest mindfulness techniques.

If you’d like to organise a mindfulness event for your team, or simply incorporate mindfulness into your next event, contact Nisha on to find out more.
