Image of the Week: Singapore, a Leading Sustainable Destination

Share

Every business in the 21st century needs to demonstrate what good they’re doing for the world, according to Roger Simons, Regional Sustainability Director for the Asia Pacific Region at the MCI Group, previously Group Sustainability Manager.

He explains why sustainability in events is important for planners, buyers and organisations that are looking for smart, future destinations to meet their requirements.

This includes suppliers in destinations that highlight their commitment to recycling, energy, emissions, water and waste, and illustrate high-tech innovation rather than traditional practices.

One of the leading destinations for sustainable business events is Singapore. It showcases a new water recycling plant, which re-purifies water used in the country through a unique nine-step filtration process, and energy use is tracked as part of a 360 green meeting package at the prestigious Marina Bay Sands hotel.

Find out more about what makes Singapore an established leading sustainable destination and why supporting sustainability in events is key in engaging and activating your audiences.
